I am involved in two key projects aimed at fostering science education and research in Africa
TReND in Africa
As a member of TReND in Africa, I organise workshops and seminars to promote alternative models and openness in neuroscience in Africa (More about TReND).
With the support of TReND and many partners worldwide, in August 2021, I established the Biomedical Science Research and Training Centre (BioRTC) at Yobe State University, Nigeria, to facilitate the research and training of Nigerian scientists to solve local and global biomedical science problems.
